Please find a way to gently get the hurt or sick animal to one of the three island vets. Â If it’s a cat, you should be able to borrow a cage from one of the vets or pet food stores.Â
As a small group of volunteers, our main problem is finding hands to help and financing so we need every single one of our annual visitors to assist if possible.
If you can afford the treatment it would be greatly appreciated as we have to raise thousands of Euro each month to help the animals. Ask the vets for a discount as the animal is not yours.
If you can’t afford the treatment, please take the animal to the vet anyway and ask them to get permission from Mykonos Animal Welfare to do whatever it is that needs to be done.Â
