Injured or sick animal
If an animal is injured or seriously unwell, the fastest and kindest thing you can do is take it directly to a local vet.
MAW volunteers are often stretched, especially in summer, and waiting for a reply can cost valuable time. Please do not wait — go directly to a vet.
Before transporting an injured animal, place them in a secure box or cage with air holes. Cages and traps are available from pet shops and vets on the island — please call ahead before you go to make sure one is available.
